Melburned and Dogs Tails Wagging

I imagine that Dean Bailey would have come to the MCG today with some hope in his heart, praying for a better performance from his boys then what he received last week. In the begging he probably thought he was set for an easier journey but that little voice in the back of his head would have been telling him not to get to confident....it would have been right.
There would be absolutely no point in going on to detail all the nos and woes of a Melbourne team to day that just don't seem to have the fire in they're bellies and quite frankly, looked more like statues then demons today.
Suffice to say that the dogs win was pretty comprehensive and Melbourne's percentage will pay the price, to the tune of another 100 points after there first shellacking in round 1.
Where to they go from here, who do they turn to. This is the time for Dean Bailey to stand up, making conscious decisions and try and think of a way to do the best he can with this list. They're President Mr. Gardiner pleaded for a uniting of all supporters to come together and help this club in its time of need. But in all fairness I think such issues should have been sorted out BEFORE the start of the season.
I respect his feelings towards the fair weather supporter, but I think that it would be unreasonable for him to expect fans to support with as much vigor as they would if the club was on top. I don't agree with the way it works but the mind of a fan is fickle, and it wants results
Burnt badly can they bounce back......time will tell.
