Let's begin with something pretty basic to begin to build up our betting bank.
The idea here is to pick the gilt-edged cherries out of the sports betting market
Week 12 of the National Football League pits the Jacksonville Jaguars at home against the Buffalo BIlls. Last week saw the Bills join the club of teams crushed by the Patriots when they got thumped 54-10, Jacksonville accounted for San Diego on the road 24-17.
Before the Pats got hold of them, the 5-5 Bills had strung together four straight wins, Jacksonville are sitting nicely at 7-3. The Jaguars welcomed back quarterback David Garrard last week and he extended his record to 6 games in a row without interception.
Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew has scored 22 touchdowns in his last 23 games and will be looking to continue this amazing run against the 31st ranked defence in the NFL, conceding 22.2 points per game.
The Bills will be without their rookie running back Marshawn Lynch who has been ruled out again, having failed to recover from badly spraining an ankle a fortnight ago. Without their number one running back in an already ordinary offense, Buffalo's scoring (offense ranked 31st in NFL) effort may not be good enough, even against the middle-of-the-road Jaguars defence (23rd in NFL). Jacksonville look a good bet here.
In Australia, TAB Sportsbet is offering $1.26, BetChoice has the Jags at $1.26 and Ladbrokes in England has Jacksonville a warm 1.26 favourite. There are no flash odds here but we can get off to a good start. Then we can re-invest into the Patriots into the later game and squeeze that little bit more out of our dollar
