Poorly bowled Warnie

Once again Shane Warne has passed comment on the state of Australian cricket.
In this morning's Herald-Sun in Melbourne, Warne has been very critical of the mentality surrounding the Australian cricket team. Warne was interviewed by cricket writer Jon Pierik and responded to questioning on topics like his relationship with John Buchanan, complacency in the Australian team and other issues in world cricket.
The problem I have is that Warne is being used, and is allowing himself to be used as a 'Mr Dial-a-Quote' by the media. Whilst Warne's opinions are, at the moment, credible and worth listening to, I fear that with repeated negative comments towards John Buchanan and other members of the Australian cricket set-up Warne will lose that on-field credibility that he has toiled so long and hard to build.
Wanre needs to just enjoy his retirement and do all of the things he enjoys. He should know by now that speaking one's mind, even when you are an exalted superstar of the cricketing arena, has a massive price to pay. Warne has done more than enough for the circulation figures of newspapers all over the world, he owes them nothing and should exercise his right to a relaxed retirement.
Shane, when they next ring tell them to bugger off, stay out of the issues that surround Australian cricket and enjoy your retirement knowing that you have revolutionised the game with your skill, magic and wizardry. It's not your problem any more, you have done your bit.
