Sporting Snaps - Sydney v Fremantle

The Sydney Swans took on Fremantle at the SCG on Sunday afternoon. Both sides were desperate for a win to keep in contact with the top 8, but in wet and slippery conditions it wasn't a game that reached any great heights.
The Swans were wasteful with the ball in the first half, dominating possession but with just a 2-point lead to show for it; and when the Dockers landed the first goal in the third term there were worried faces in the Swans camp. But then the floodgates opened and it was a demolition, with the Swans dominating the remainder of the match.
It was a milestone match to remember for Michael O'Loughlin, his 261st game to break the all-time club record previously held by John Rantall. Also former Brownlow medallist Adam Goodes celebrated his 200th game. Those two Aboriginal superstars have been suburb footballers for the Swans, and wonderful ambassadors for the game.
