UEFA Champions League Matchday 5

Matchday five of the UEFA Champions League sees some cracking football to be played.
There is plenty for punters but as I write this Sydney FC are leading a disgusting excuse for a football team ,the LA Galaxy 4-2 after 68 minutes. I hope the Galaxy can find something but with their calamitous goalkeeper they are always a chance to concede another goal.
I think bookmakers may have presented punters with a gift here. Manchester United are home at Old Trafford against Sporting Lisbon. You can count on one hand the amount of times Manchester United have lost at Old Trafford to European opposition.
They have had four starts in Group F for four wins, not conceding a goal at home while Sporting Lisbon have only beaten the hapless Dynamo Kyiv in the tournament so far.
They need to win to stay in the race to join Manchester United in the next phase of the tournament so they can't afford to sit back.
Manchester United's firepower should get them over the line, especially with the Old Trafford faithful and the ghosts of Sir Matt Busby and George Best behind them.
Bookmakers are offering prices about the 1.5 mark which look a pretty good investment.
Devout Protestants should take the double with Rangers who are up against winless Stuttgart. They will start at around the 2.90 mark.
Good Punting
As I write the Sydney FC / LA Galaxy game has just finished 5-3 to Sydney. Sydney ain't much good but the Galaxy defence was deplorable. Get on the plane and get to New Zealand, Galaxy, where impostors are tolerated.....the Black Caps have been impersonating a cricket team for years.
