Welcome to the new-look Sporting Daily - 2007's newest online sporting review and pictorial.
To those of you are read this and think "so who the bloody hell are you?", here's some details.
My name is Michael, I live in Sydney and I am a sportaholic. AFL is my number 1 passion, and this blog will have plenty of footy talk. I write a weekly column on the local Sydney AFL competition at RedAndWhiteOnline and at AFL level I barrack for Essendon but regularly attend the Swans games. I'm also a fan of digital photography, and I'll be illustrating posts on here with various pics of various sports that I've taken.
As well as footy, there'll also be talk about soccer, cricket, tennis, basketball and whatever else comes along. And although I'll mostly be writing about sport; from time to time, as an issue of interest comes along, I won't mind deviating from the original subject matter.
There'll be plenty of features and reviews on this site.
Thursday evenings will see "Show Us Your Tips", in which I'll be tipping the AFL and NRL results; plus the A-League once that competition gets under way in August.
"Sporting Snaps" will be a photo gallery, with pics I've taken at games.
As well, there'll be match reviews, scoreboards and plenty more. And don't miss "Michael's Musings" on Wednesday nights, an editorial about a sporting matter as it arises.
So there'll be plenty to entertain you on here. So bookmark this site and hopefully the content will keep you coming back for more.
